The stream randomly fails afer a while with "rtphdepay0: NAL unit type 26 not supported yet" Whereas the number is different in each run. Before hand the debug info "rtphdepay0: Could not decode stream. May guess is that the mtu is not set correctly for the payloader at the server side.

A look in wireshark gave that some packets have sometimes a size are above Bytes. This should not be the case since the payloader has a default mtu of Bytes. What can i do let it decode the stream correctly?

I thought the gst buffers or rtp packets should just be put in the tcp data block. Re: h. That is not true.

Does anybody has an idea on how to stream h. In reply to this post by pfarmer. Thanks a lot for the reply! How can I do this? Chuck Crisler Tim, how does the -v option work on gst-launch? I haven't seen anything that seems to relate to that in the elements I have worked with but I know that it generates output that otherwise isn't displayed.

If only you had the source code to check, right?

Thank you. From my perspective, GStreamer is a rather large and intimidating project. It takes some time to get familiar with all of the various pieces and understand what they are doing.

Sometimes a short explanation like this helps me get started digging to really understand. Again, Thank you. Pass -v to gst-launch If it's avc, add an I somehow should to say to the piple to be live which does not need to preroll.

But well its somewhat in a roundabout way and has quiet some overhead. Is it normal that there must be no tsparse before the tsdemux? Somehow I have the feeling I was struggling with that already one year ago :. Actually I am not sure what does avc stand for in this case.

In the H. I am wondering at if the Byte-Stream of the properties of the xenc is the Byte stream they are talking about in the book and what is the "avc stream-format" related to the book.It is recommended to download any files or other content you may need that are hosted on processors.

It is our hope that people using this page will add new interesting pipelines that they themselves are using. For example, on DM if you are decoding a video and outputing to component please include your pipeline for others to use as a reference. Refer to this Gstreamer article for more information on downloading and building TI Gstreamer elements. Currently these pipelines have not undergone any extensive testing.

If you find an error in a pipeline please correct it. You should be able to use any audio and video media file that conforms to the appropriate standard. The following ffmpeg command takes a. Run the command on your host computer. Following are a list of supported platforms, with links that jump directly to pipeline examples for each platform. Before executing the pipeline you need to set couple of environment variables, load kernel modules and activate video planes as follows:.

This platform does not have an accelerated audio decoder element. This platform does not have an accelerated audio encoder element. You can use the ARM based audio encoders "lame" or "faac". This section gives example where EVM acts as streaming server, which captures, encodes and transmit via udp. Host PC can be used as client to decode. Notes on DM Performance: There is a known issue on DM where there are intermittent freezes in video and audio playback in some cases.

If you experience this, nicing your gst-launch command to 15 as follows may resolve the issue:. You can use the ARM based audio decoders "mad" or "faac". The following pipeline assumes you have an. The following pipeline assumes you have an transport stream file with H. This section gives example where EVM acts as RTP client, which receives encoded stream via udp then decodes and display output.

Host PC can be used as server to transmit encoded stream. Please see some special notes while playing P clip here. A simple RTP server which encodes and transmits H. You will need to create a PCM file. You can do so by decoding an audio file and sending the output to the filesink. Hi, I'm trying to get a video stream from rtp using a pipeline: gst-launch New clock: GstSystemClock And nothing's more - window with video doesn't display. When I'd change gst-launch I think, the problem is with rtph depay. I tried to use pipeline: gst-launch Later I created pipeline shown below; gst-launch Is it possible, that hdepay doesn't work in gstreamer How can I solve my problem?

Best regards, Marcin Kolny. Re: hdepay doesn't work properly in gstreamer I think you should be using avhdec or something similar. Check it with gst-inspect, just do gst-inspect Andrey Nechypurenko Also, since OP used decodebin, it should pick the right decoder. I am currently also in process of porting 0. The error message from it says that caps are not set properly not at my development computer now and do not remember the exact error message.

I am sure that exactly the same pipeline did work with 0. Not sure however if it is a bug or 0. Adam Goodwin. So for the OP's example, this would be: gst-launch I think I had the same problem and can't remember if that was what got rtphdepay working for me, but I think it was. If it still doesn't work, and you have access to the pipeline doing the sending, you can try running gst-launch for that pipeline with the "-v" option. That will let you see that caps that are being used at the sender end, and so you can apply those caps to the receiving end to avoid any capabilities caps negotiation issues.

I have a gstreamer pipeline where I get a rtsp stream from a mobile app and I both save it to a file and send to a virtual v4l2loopback device.

It works great but sometimes the recording hangs with the error Buffer has no PTS. I think that probably sometimes the app is sending duplicated frames or similar.

For me is not a problem if the recording has some glitches but with the error above I lose it completely. Is there a way to avoid this with some "cleaner" component, if it exists, on the pipeline?

Or is there an alternative to avoid this? Learn more. Asked 6 days ago. Active 6 days ago. Viewed 23 times. The pipeline is this: gst-launch New contributor.

Hot Network Questions. Question feed.I am now working a real-time h video stream player. I checked the plugins related to h installed on my computer, they are h parser and rtphpay and rtphdepay. There is no h decoder that I can use directly. Now I have vdpauhdec, but I still have no clue to get it work with h files. Why is it???? Dear Peter. Thanks so much for your notes, they are very helpful. About the ff-mpeg pakage, I had googled it before installing the gst-libav I found that, the version of gst-ffmpeg has been updated to gst-libav since gst-ffmpeg By the way, I am using opensuse I will try it later on.

All BEST! You asked for a h decoder and mention a few modules. Here are som comments. It may be able to convert a h stream from NAL units to AU units and perhaps vice versa, but that's it. You use it in a stream to ensure that the following modules will receive the right caps information and perhaps for the unit conversion.

gstreamer rtph264depay

In your case you may only need the modules, if you need to decapsulate an RTP stream. Now for decoding h, you can among other things also do. Now for why you are missing the h decoder, it depends on you OS, your installed packages, your version of GStreamer etc.

On one of my systems I'm using Ubuntu To get h decoder support I need to install gstreamer0. What you see should give you a clue. Hello, there. Can anyone help me with this please? With Regards.
